MIMSUGI MENTALITY

The mimsugi mentality aligns with our values with it’s focus on acceptance and individuality.
Using this platform we aim to highlight current issues within our heavily consumerist society, aswell as informing and generating positive mental health awareness and advocation.
We aim to utilise our branding and hope to one day be recognised as support for the mentally ill community.
Our products are designed to be kept, used, and worn to show support to individuals who may be struggling to share know that they have a voice, and they have support and acceptance behind them.

May is mental health awareness month and not enough people are aware of this!  We hope to use our voice and platform to share information. To show support individuals are asked to wear green ribbon, as green is the dedicated colour of mental health awareness. This has developed over time initially starting out as a ribbon fashioned from a green pine sprig to symbolise loss and grief, since evolving  to the wider aspect of mental illness often triggered by grief.
Whilst significant improvement has been made there is still a long way to go into the rights and funding of those suffering or impacted by mental illness, this is hence why our brand pledges to donate 10% of our profit to a different mental health charity/ organisation chosen for each drop. (See our product pages for more information surrounding our donations).
